Well, I got STing working with Masquerading over the weekend via the MIDI lines. Very, very slow with lots of dropped packets, but it works.

If you can figure out a way to masquerade your Ethernet connection to your PC's serial port, you're in business with a null modem cable. I know this can be done in Linux, but I don't do Windows.
