First, set up Masquerading on the Linux box. The How-To is located at http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO/other-formats/html_single/IP-Masquerade-HOWTO.html .
Second, connect the serial ports of the Linux box and TT via a null modem cable. A redirect command is required. My Linux box is in storage (I use mostly Atari Falcons and Apple Powermacs now), but the following page looks familiar: http://www.linuxforum.com/linux_tutorials/21/1.php
Finally, configure STing to use a static IP (the one you selected to talk to the Linux box with). There is no need to run Dialer, but if you wish to utilize it's tools, configure Dialer to be always connected.
