Yes, I often thought it would be a good idea if Windows was put on ROM. That would be a good start toward making the system more durable, though I still think other needs need to be done, mainly just slimming the whole thing down. However it would be an excellent start, and get help solve of one of the most annoying things on PC's, the time they take to boot up.
