On my Amiga modulator if I have it set wrong it comes up all grey.I think a 1040STE I had was set like that once too and I had no sound.I may be completely wrong :P but lets look at everything possible :) Also has anyone noticed that some old systems wont tune into new TVs but work with others? My Spectrum is affected by that.It was mentioned in this months Retro Gamer too. Do the power lights flash? Does the drive spin? Any other signs of life?
