I think replies to this will be very, varied. You need to take into account the number of different machines being used.
For me;
1. Deluxe Paint ST
2. Imagecopy
3. Positive Image
then you see I am an artist so I use drawing programs, other than this, perhaps other things I use are;
1. Selectric (Replacement file selector)
2. Autosort(and this can really really be kind of essential I think)
3. Some kind of control panel, a few are available and change desktop colours, click repeat rate, things like that.
4. Key click, it switches off the keyboard key click, which often can stop your atari from loading.
From then on I guess it is games for me.
oh yeah, I love disk cake, it was slated in reviews for having "no real purpose", well when I used Gemulator, and for anyone with a fairly large hard drive, to be able to browse through it graphically, was just such a pleasant and productive experienece for me, I give that program a gold star.
