seeing is believing. it would be great, but it sounds like pure vapourware to me. have you read how much trouble it cost the ACP guys to get Mint running on their evaluation board?
I hope you now see this as a challenge and try to realise this :)) otherwise, there is not any more point to continue this conversation.. then just install RTLinux/RTAI on a PC/104. (you will see that you -can- directly grab interrupts, dma and whatever you want.. and get a decent performing pc, wow!)
