What you may wish to do rather than get a 1040stfm is look out for an STe machine, as these have SIMM slots, so can easily be upgraded without any soldering it all. The SIMMS are dirt cheap (literally a few euros), so you can have a 4mb machine for very little money, which will leave you plenty of RAM for your program and give you a lot more freedom in picking other applications you might want in the future.
