Thanks everyone.

Originally I couldn't load hd driver from the floppy because the floppy drive wouldn't read, it just came up errors. However, the winner of the help the hopeless contest was..

Yes, electronics do seem to need time to "refresh" themselves. I left the falcon running for an hour, then nothing, repowered it up, and sure enough, HOO HAA!!
WORKING FALCON< WORKING IDE, WORKING FLOPPY<WORKING SYQUEST 270 Meg.

Yup all is normal again.

Will be now going to work on my TT finishing up the hard drive debacle.

Thanks again to all whom answered, and yes now my clock is off.
