The question is not whether it can handle 800 x 600,
the question is at what horizontal refresh it can.
So get the manual of your monitor, see what range of
horizontal scanrates it can handle, then check what
"Videl inside" puts out and compare.
If your monitor can handle the frequencies provided
by the Falcon, check what master clock the Falcon uses.
Standard VGA is driven by a 25MHz clock, but some
resolutions will actually use the 32MHz clock initally
meant for use on RGB.
If so, test this clock by connecting the Falcon to an RGB-
monitor or a TV set and see whether it displays anything
sensible at all.
If not, the RGB clock is either dead or has been replaced
by a different clock.
