Yes, I meant that it can't do MPEGs as in keep up with the original frame rate of the file. Doing DCTs without a co pro is nasty, but having to do them hundreds of times a second is killer.
And Cinepak was one of Quicktime's first codecs, thus less complex than MPEG to decode. Not terribly good with colour preservation, but this is an ST we're talking about, so it's not an issue. ;)
