I used Deluxe Paint ST to create an animation, and I enjoyed it :D

there is thrax's iff player which can play the animation created by DP (Deluxe Paint), I can play the animation via this method using MagicMac running on my Apple Mac Quadra, though the colours are not as they should be, ie:- red will be blue etc.

MPlayer I would say is pretty good.
