To fix the "VBE 2.0 not detected" problem, you'll need to go to http://www.scitechsoft.com and download Scitech Display Doctor. Install it and this problem should be fixed.

I don't know if TOS 1.0 is better for games, but I heard this too. It just might be but I'm not sure.
