Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, looking up that same part number and model number on ebay yields some ads where you can see the specifications on the unit itself, and there is no mention of a 12v line:

Output: 16.2 Vdc @ 2.6 Amp

I would really like to get either the original PS fixed, or get an all in one replacement to sell with the STBook, in case the future owner wants to use a rechargeable battery pack.
