I understand Polish a bit, so I will try to answer as I undestood the text:
* Can one boot without floppy from this?
Yes you can, because the interface containts two EPROMs and partialy acts like a normal catridge containing some code to boot up the driver from disk, which then allows you to boot from any partition you want...
* Does it work with a plain STFM, TOS1.04?
Yes, it works, because it doesn't need any special thing from newer TOS (like 'to check on the standart IDE interface when booting').
* Does it eat modern 40GB drives?
This isn't writen there. I saw this interface working with my own eyes about 8 years ago on STE. In that time there was no 40 GB drives, so you should contact Paskud to ask him.
I think that this is only the matter of the driver - if it supports LBA mode of accessing the disk sectors, then it should be no problem (there is no problem in HW that could matter, I think).
* What filesystems are supported?
