USB drivers will not be necessary!
The programming of interface chip should be such that it will TRANSPARENTLY translate ASCI to USB, that is the interfaces purpose!
The ST/ASCI side the interface will look to the ST as a STANDARD ASCI/SH204/Megafile hard drive while the OTHER end will be standard USB.
TOS will plug and play the interface as a megafile HDD!! no driver required at all!
Therefore, you plug an 80GB external USB drive into this thing. The ST will see it as an available standard ASCI drive and it would have to be partitioned into MANY drives, "c", "d", "e", etc...
Of course most of the drive will go unused, but so what....
