Have in mind that the standart SH205/Megafile transfer protocol has a 1 GB limit (the sector number is 21 bits wide, this means 2^21 sectors max., and this is 1GB exactly).
The same protocols allows max 8 targets (from 0 to 7), each target can contain 8 devices (0 to 7), so this means:
8 targets * 8 devices in each target = 64 devices... So if the thing could act as standart SH205/Megafile device and it could every GB of space emulate as one device, you will end up with 64 devices with 1 GB size and 16 GB will be un-addressable.
This would be all OK if you only want to use this drive through this interface, but when you would want to connect the disk to PC with Windows or Linux, you couldn't read a thing from it.
And this is what matters to me - to copy from/to the disk on the PC and on the Atari...
