It seems that a couple of people have expressed some interest in writing drivers / programming for the device. I think it would be useful if there was someone with a definite interest and the technical know how to design & build it - that is the hands on electrical bits on pcb board type stuff. Perhaps if "Steve at classics @ atarimax.com"
could drop a line here expressing his interest or potential support and that might move things along on the technical design front? If he is not really interested perhaps someone else would come forward or volunteer to assist?
Then if we can all set aside nationalistic pride for a while we may be able to make a realistic assessment wether there is anyone technically competant (with electrical bits) who wants to take on such a project.
