Normally the protection on the power pack is in always sews power connection. Thus between mains connection and the electric rectifier.

If the protection after that replace again blows, you have probably a short circuited in the primary part of the power pack.

Mostly it´s cheaper to replace the whole power pack.

(Hardly to find the right componets to repair it)
