Hey no bullshit, here is your answer.....
Any Falcon that sells for that little has to be a PAL machine. Traded between desperate people that live in PAL (Poorer) countries.
Here in the US. $1000 USD is only 4-5 days of an average I.T. Workers salary. (no big deal at all)
I wouldn't sell a NEW Falcon for less than $700-$1000, its not worth my time.
Oh, and since you obviously don't know why US (NTSC) Falcons are so rare....
Best Electronics has an open agreement with the Bell and Howle Corporation (A bounty actually) of $1500 for EACH AND EVERY FALCON030 they can get their hands on.
They are stripped down and the CPUs are used as the brain for the "mailstar-500" mail sorting machine. I contacted Bell&Howle last year. They have 260+ Falcon030s in stock as replacement parts!!! Price $ 2640 EACH....
Suck on that.
They are slowly absorbing the entire supply of Falcons. That is why most of the bidders for the Falcons on Ebay are a select group of Retailers under Psudo names. -- duh---
And before you say something dumb like "well why don't you sell them your Falcon",,, I tried--duh-- they have an agreement and will only buy from "the retailer"
