This sounds like your machine is seeking
a disk and if I remember rightly after
a few seconds the desktop should show.If
not then you have an STE with the rare
boot bug problem.Get someone to make you
a DS disk with the fix program,found on
most software sites,cds etc and then put
that disk in when you turn on.That should fix it. Martine.
