I happily just got my hands on my 2 original ST520's and 1 still works!

I'm hoping to hook a hard drive to my favorite computer. I've look and found the same trouble everyone else has found - no simple IDE readily available. I have some resources, know how and time I could devote. (PCB layout software, soldering skills, good chip programmer, programming skills in 68000 assembly.)

I can't seem to find any good info except the pin out for the drive cable, and that wonderful link on the DYI IDE interface.

I would really love to get the ACSI to IDE device going so I can hook up Flash memory as a drive.

I can't read German and haven't found the details of the ACSI interface.

If anyone can help send me info on the ACSI DMA interface I believe I can maybe figure out how to make it all work.
