The overscan is an internal device, that doesn't requrie you recase your system or anything. It also has the adfvantage that he increased display resoltions are still colour ones, rather than mono and work fine on nomral monitors.
AFAIK there is now ay to get TT high on a normal VGA minotor as it uses a ultra high refresh rate.
