The books I received were very good, but still lacking enough on the DMA. There were two good documents on the internet. (dmainfo.html - HOW TO USE THE ATARI ST HARD DISK PORT and a hardware guide.)
Thanks for the info on the programmer. I'll still stick with the free one I have to save me some time. I've seen those before.
I was able to re-layout your schematic via Eagle, but couldn't tell exact bus layout (pin to pin connections), so I haven't gone ahead to make one because I can't verify actual pin out from your schematic.
Are you willing to share code - or is it too top-secret? I have no interest in profit from making a better/more interface options available. Is it AVR GCC, assembly or other?
I understand if you do not want to share it - it's lots of very hard work on your part + lots of talent.
Do you have any sources for the 19 pin connectors - or is Best electronics the only source U.S. side possibly to get these connectors?
