I was able to get 20 male and 20 female 19 pin cable connectors from this web page.
These can be used to make 19 pin D-sub cables
for the DMA port.

(US)
They sell the 19 pin D-subs - in limited quality, call or e-mail them before you order.
Never did hear back from Jookie, please e-mail me your code so I can build one of your IDE devices also and make an IDE drive work with my ATARI STE. That would be great!
I'm also looking into building the scheamtic from SCSICNT.ZIP which is posted on
at
http://atari4ever.free.fr/hardware/drives.html
to hook up a ZIP disk to the atari.
Once I build and verfiy, I will post an eagle PCB board and schematic for everyone to use.
Then the next step is to get the design into some sort of GAL, PAL, or CPLD device.
The sony_144 document to replace a floppy drive in ST/STE worked well. (I replaced a 1040 STFM drive this morning but no HD drive yet).
