It's a good idea to stick in a terminating resistor between + and - ECL. Use 100 ohm I think, or 120. Stick your scope gnd to svga ground pin, and the scope probe to +ECL, check the volatges then. Do same for -ECL. I have a feeling they'll both be negative signals, just opposite logic.
