Hmmm ... From scratch i remember two conditions under
which the Falcon will only display a black screen:
1.) No RAM to initialize screen memory
2.) No clock for the CPU
The first is relatively easy to solve, check the RAM-card.
Perhaps it became lose or, if it's a 14MB card with a
SIMM, if the SIMM is missing or lost contact.
The second is harder to solve, you should be looking
onto the Falcon's PCB and see whether a clock patch
has been installed and became lose.
