I can't really say how the clock patch should look exactly
and there are many ways to fixate one.
You should simply look for a little chip, usually labelled
74x04 where the "x" can be (basically) a random letter,
either on a little daughter board or soldered piggy back
onto something different.
The clock patch should have cables going to several points
on the Falcon PCB and it should be the only daughterboard
or chip on top that has cables going anywhere.
I also have two more ideas what to try. You might try to
unplug everything that's not required like keyboard, disk
drive, harddisk and try to boot then.
Otherwise, i am running out of ideas. Do you have an
oscilloscope ? If so, can you check whether the CPU receives
a valid clock signal (see MC68030 reference manual) ?
