Hi Matt

Your answer as to speed is not quite right. The "present" Milan is a computer powered by a 68040 processor. The soon to be released Milan comes equipped with a 68060 Processor.
As to how fast that may be I can only answer that I own a Hades 68060, mades by the Medusa Corp[oration. They
are entirely separate from the Milan people. The Hades, comparing
only Mac software on both an 8600 and the same machine with a G3 450 Mhz processor is about the same as the
latter. Meaning running programs like Das Repro compared to Photoshop, the two machines
run at the same speed. If I use MagiCMac on the Mac then it runs about 50 percent faster with Atari software.

The new Milan is supposed to be considerably faster then my machine. I would suspect that it would run Atari software faster then any PC would run
run PC software. At the same time I'm sure that Mac's under MagiCmac, assuming a G4 chip would run Atari software faster then the Milan.

I depend on Calamus SL, Das Repro, Outline, Das Vector and a number of other Atari programs. The only reason I NEED a Mac is for rendering and film.

I plan to buy a new Milan.
