well that sure was a bargain! but you'd have been better off trying to win the FA8 with it!! - the small ribbon cable on the back of your FDI goes into the FA8 - then from the FA8 there is a cable which goes into your DSP port on the falcon - seeing as the guy sold it all seperately - he sold the cable you need with the FA8!! which you could've use in place of the tiny ribbon cable that you have!
one end of the cable you need has 15 pins (like your ribbon cable) the other end has 26 pins (falcon DSP port) though who knows where you would find one of those now...
