Atari has been dying for a long time and now that Hasbro owns Atari it will kill it faster. Hey I don't think is a crap company but they don't belong in the computer/console industry they have proving this when they bought some software company I think it was Microphase but not sure if I'm right but what ever company it was it used to be big but since Hasbro bought them I haven't heard anything released under the name. Hasbro is not the killer of Atari it's just picking at the bones, the reason why I say this is because a while after Nolan Bushnell sold Atari to Warner he could see the company dying and if he was allowed him to do his own thing it would have proberbly survived a little longer. Also the Tramiels were another bad thing that help kill Atari and if the way they ran Atari was the same way that Jack ran Commodore then no wonder Commodore got rid of him even though he founded Commodore. I admit the under Tramiel rule there were great machines and a great OS were released. But management wise they were shocking using Atari to get revenge with Commodore and also usinig it like a video game in the stockmarket. JTS didn't do much with Atari when the had it. Now we come to Atari's current owners which is Hasbro all they plan on doing is revamping old games which most games can be released by WMS industries (Williams) since they own the arcade division.
About the TOS compatible computers I don't know a great deal about them all I can say they sound good and I plan on buying one. I also would like to take the time to tell any Australian Atarians out there I have found a place in Tasmania, Austalia where you can buy TOS compatible computers and other stuff for the ST/Falcon The place is known as Fujination and the internet address is : www.intelitec.com.au/fujination
