Atari is dead. There is no company called Atari, and no person working for Atari. The company died with the JTS merger and bankrupcy.
What Hasbro does own is the name and 'intellectual property'. All they wanted it for was to make a buck some crappy old 70's remakes.
The Milan is a german Atari clone, that runs TOS, Atari's OS. Milan owns a licence for developing and distributing TOS. They wanted to obtain the rights to use the Atari logo from Hasbro, but don't seem to have succeeded.
Compared to a PC or a modern Mac, of course it doesn't come close as far as processing power is concerned, running an old 68060 at 66MHz, but it is a fast as hell with a lean an efficient no-bloat OS like TOS. It is also cheap, has PCI and USB ports, and is only available in Europe. Check out www.milan-computer.de for details.
