I've got the scsi zip drive.
it seems in good condition, but...
My Atari STe won't "see" the drive.
I've tried connecting it via my progate hard drive, like this;
Atari STe, acsi/dma cable to progate hard drive, then 50 pin D connection from progate hard drive to 25 pin D connection on my scsi zip drive.
I have hard drive driver on my progate hard drive (HDdriver.sys) it was already on the drive when I got it and only the hddriver.sys file.
I downloaded the demo version of HDDriver, this did not "see" my zip drive.
My zip drive has a switch to change the scsi id, between 5 or 6, and it has a switch to set termination on or off, I've tried all the combinations.
My progate hard drive has a switch to set the scsi id, which I tried changing, it only works when the scsi id is set to "0".
I found an old driver for the mac, & now my mac sees the zip drive & all looks good:) on the mac side.
