This is possible with Hddriver, for both SCSI
and IDE drives. For example, on both of my
machines I have A: being a normal floppy drive
and B: a Zip drive.

Btw. its not a good idea to drop all floppy
drives completely becaus ein case your hd
driver got damaged somehow you would have no
choice to load any driver for rescue actions...
