Well Hasbro hasn't quite killed Atari. It seems fair to say that they have to consider the financial aspects. But of course you're quite right it would be great to see a new Atari system on the shelves again.

Perhaps Hasbro's current management are a little short sighted not to see that there is still a huge market out there for the Atari brand. And they are still pushing the Atari brand. However even though the Atari brand is being pushed and is not 'physical dead' it still seems like a dead entity without some real Hardware. Still I would imagine they have sound reasons for deciding not to introduce any new systems to the market. However I still believe they are underestimating the power the Atari name carries. Afterall for most 30 something video game addicts what else was there? Its about time Atari came on home before Hasbro really miss the boat and we're all dead, that is unless someone else buys the name/company. Watch this space.........
