AHA!
I found a file - MIDIXTRA.ZIP
In it, is a Midi port diagram, showing exactly what I said, but slight difference:-
SERIAL PIN 2 goes to MIDI PIN 4 VIA a 220OHM
SERIAL PIN 7 goes to MIDI PIN 5 VIA a 220Ohm
But also
SERIAL PIN 7 goes to MIDI PIN 2 VIA NO RES
I got the Midi Pin numbers wrong, but essentially the same... AS I was simply going to swap Serial ports from 25 to 9 pin, it would not have made any difference to the project anyway... As long as Pins 2 and 7 are the same on a 9 pin port as they are on a 25 pin port, then there should be no problems other than finding the right MROS drivers to sllow me to use Multiple Midi Ports via the Modem / Serial ports????
I am sure, that as the 25pin job is a standard one, then I should be ok with that, and providing I can also use the MROSTT and have another adapter on one of the TT Ports, then surely I can get at least 2 other Midi outs going surely?
