Sorry for not getting back sooner... Busy as heck the last couple of weeks... Cartax due end of June, no log book, DVLA admit to having it and not sending it out, so I had to fill in another form, pay £19 for the privelidge and still dotn know when the log book will come? - had to buy another car just to stay on the road, and that turns out, has no seatbelts in teh back, so I cant take kids anywhere??? - sodding law eh?

Yes, ok, so the extra ports on the ribbon cables can be ignored then, and lets assume they are copies of the onboard ports for now.
I have not had time to try out any more tests other than the little silly ones I did the other week, or whenever? ( Its been bloody hard to find time to do anything mate )

Its been some 7 or 8 years since I last played with HBasic but I dont see why I could not write something on the ST and have a null-modem cable between it and the TT that just displays anythign that comes through perhaps? - I will have a go and if I fail, then perhaps you could organise something maybe?
I used to be very competent at coding, but becoming a father then a motorbike crash causing massive brain trauma sort of changes your mind about a bit, so who knows?
