No one has mentioned this yet, but the price isnt all that good really.
Ok, so its a custom built device, but the bid is starting at £69 and the Postage is £14.
Now, dont get me wrong here, if its fully compatible with everything, then that might be just what the doctor ordered, but for that price, you can set a fully compatible SCSI adapter, and for even less, you can get an IDE Adapter for the ST. The HDs are neither here nor there cos you can get 2GB Drives for pennies these days, and hell, I have given away bigger ones.
Its also ( I feel ) a little bulky for the cartridge port. One knock and its bye bye ST and HD.
I wonder though, how fast it is compared to any other IDE or SCSI HD?
Thru-port?
