Well actually,
At this point in the game, I don't think we will be able to get enough support for such a thing.
However, their are 2 other options for speeding up BASIC.
1) You could/should be writing in TURBO
BASIC anyway, which averages 3x faster
than Atari BASIC across the board.
2) Or COMPILE your BASIC program into
machine language. You can acquire
either the BASIC Compiler from Monarch
Data Systems or the ABC (A BASIC
Compiler) made by Datasoft. From a
WEB FTP Archive.
