An FPU however is purely optional - If you want one, any PLCC68882 tested for 16MHz and beyond will do. About your Falcon's speed, i didn't know the Falcon's control panel allowed to switch cache and 8/16MHz, at least it doesn't do on my Falcon. Try to boot your Falcon "clean", i.e. with the CTRL-key pressed, switch to an 80x25 resolution and run GEMbench again to please report what you get then ... Good luck. The Paranoid
