There's an egg in the VLM for external input mode. I can't remember the sequence (although I do have it) but it suggests an input of some kind is possible.
If I were DJ at a club, and wanted to use the JagCD as a backdrop generator, this would be the way I'd do it, taking the line-out from my decks to the Jag.
Try listening to Moonspell, Slipknot or Marilyn Manson ('the beautiful people' works well) on bank 6 or 7 if you want to try and break the VLM :)))
