I have now run GEMBench and I got 94% CPU, so I assume that somethign was messing me about perhaps in the Auto Folder?
I am giving EasyMiNT a shot for now, and to be fair, my current C: is simply a copy over from the TT's HD so there may be something I have simply not picked up on, I dont know, but when I get round to it, I am going to do a full fresh install of everything rather than copy them over... That should help clean up my C: if nothign else, cos on the TT, I have over a dozen setups with Magic, Geneva, MultiTOS and a few half-arsed MiNT setups also with various flavours of Desktops like Thing, Jeneva, Ease, NeoDesk and so on, Each OS with each Desktop, and so you can only imagine how messed up my TT's C: is right now... So, a clean Falcon setup is a definite.
I also have a sneaky that NVDI isnt setup right?
I should have v5 on the HD, but its v4.11 although I dont have a clue why?
Anyway, I will hold back on Midi for a short while and play with MiNT properly and see why so many people seem to think its quicker than Magic... I will keep my Sequencing on the real Atari. ( hehe )
