It depends on how many packages you are installing. The full 180MB download takes a fair bit on the CT60 (say half an hour or so) so I'd expect a good bit more on a 030. Much of the time is disk-operations as it reads the big tar-files and put the RPMs inside on the ext2 partion, then read the rpm's when installing, which of course copies the unpacked rpm back to disk again :) So it's reading 180*2 and writing 180*3 (assuimg 50% compression by rpm) MBs.
This could of course have been made quicker by supplying the RPMs directly, but it would have been a pain to download then.
However, installation is a one time thing, it doesn't really matter if it is 20 mins or one our when it'll be used for hundreds or thousands of hours later.
