Isnt that actually 2 words?
Anyway...
I am not really a MiNT fan. Been using Magic since v2... Actually, I bought an old 40MB Drive several years ago for a fiver, the guy half-deleted his stuff off it, but me, being who I am, set about recovering what I could, and while he did an ok job at killing it off, I did a better job at recovering it...
I managed to get Magic up and running! - you should have seen me! - I almost wet myself with joy!
Thats one good point for piracy because if it hadnt been for me tryign to rip off that Magic setup, I would never have gone on to buy v4, v5 and then v6. I was happy with Geneva at the time ( After wasting money on MultiTOS )
Anyway, I have had a play with MiNT in the past, never been overly impressed with its speed, or lack of, until only just recently, in gettign back into the mix, and while I have taken it off at this time, I have thrown MiNT ( EasyMiNT 16 ) onto the Falcon in the last week, and even though I have a few failures of the rpms, I got it half sorted, and then manually added bits in and got a setup going, using Thing Desktop. Failed to get Jinnee top play right, but thats a small issue... What I id see, was a system that was much much quicker than before. Still not a patch on Magic, but as mark ( The guy who has done EasyMiNT ) has told me, its never going to be quicker than Magic. Its bloody close though!
Anyway, what I am trying to say ( going the long way round as I usually do ) is that I dont use MiNT, so MiNTnet, at this time, is not an option.... It may very be in future as I plan on using my TT for MiNT ( Falcon for music, but I have other issues fo far with the Falcon - in another post though )
