Hmm... yeah?
Basically, what I got is a fully working, and perfect TT Setup.
I use CuBase Score v2 on the TT and its fast, its never crashed ( Well, it has, but thats when I try to cut a large chunk and I dont have enough RAM cos my music is getting far too big )
However, the Falcon is a different story.
I got CuBase Audio with it, there was no IDE Driver ( Said there was in the ad ) and the SCSI is a SyQuest 270MB Job with 3 disks... So far, I have failed and failed to get that drive to work properly, and so, I have simply used a Compact Flash card and an IDE to CF adapter, oh, and a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter cable , and taken the TT's HDs and copied its files over to the Compact Flash.
So, yes, my setup is really only based around what I had on the TT as-is... I have had NO SOFTWARE at all that I have been able to use - I got a load of floppies but I think half a dozen were readable, the rest I junked.
I have downloaded the files already actually, but of course, nothing is being used.
I have been given an FDI-INIT.PRG for the Auto folder, but thats doing nothign seemingly?
Its early days anyway...
I was impatient with my last falcon... I ended up selling it off after a very short time, due to it being so slow... This time, I am not going to be so rash, and in fact, I have already been in touch with rodolf about the new batch of CT63s and have my nme down, so even if I cannot sort midi out, I still have the TT, and I am perfectly happy with Score... I was rather hoping CuBase Audio was in colour to be honest, dont really care all that much for the Audio side cos well... It does not seem to be able to add SAMPLES as I remember them, but then, thats BreakThru that I remember... These are AIF ( or whatever and I dont have any of them ) million AVR and WAV but no AIF.
Oh god, Im waffling again... You can tell I am exited about getting back into Atari though, at least give me that!
Later.
