I have got a number of FDI_INIT.PRG files and I simply went through them all, and it seems that although they seemed to run fine, some of them kept the Falcon slow, and others let it run properly, so I am assuming that they are corrupt! The ones that didnt help have gone to the trash and I have keopt and backed up a good one. Thanks mate. Got another issue that you may want to help me on now... CuBase Audio hangs when I try to stop a song, whether its midi only, or has any audio in it... As soon as I press stop, it does exactly that... The whole Falcon though, not just the song. Confused.
