Yes, I would have to say its a heap of shit too!
When you consider the coding alone, you need a faster PC than you have just to run Windows!
I can bet with 110% certainty, that if Micro$oft had Windows written by Atari coders, it would :-
A - Be quicker by a massive margin
B - Actually bloody work
C - Wont need Printer drivers that take up a gig of HD space
And quite probably
D - Fit on a floppy!
Ok ok, maybe entry D is a bit silly these days, cos it will take 2 but you see what I mean!

Look such programs as Papyrus!
That can run on a 512K Machine, with Magic installed it only needs 1MB, and on an 8mhz machine, its faster than MSOffice is on a 500MHZ PC FFS!
Us Atari users are only let down by the hardware being so sodding expensive.
I have often wondered that if Atari didnt mess up so badly with the TT and especially the Falcon, and actually got off their arses and perhaps made it at least 32MHZ off the bat, then where would the Atari be now?
Ok, perhaps it would not be where the PC is, but it would have made a much bigger impact back then, because at the time, the PC was on its 386 stage, with the 486 just around the corner.... I just wonder...
Then again, look at the Jaguar? A Seriously OTT machine for the time but let down by Ataris usual idea of fantastic advertising... NOT!
Yet, Sony, who make absolute shyte, know how to sell utter bollocks, and whats happened with the PlayStation??? Its the biggest thing since sliced bread, yet its so crappily made, with cheap components, and its utter drivvel, yet everyone seems to have one!
Just goes to show doesnt it?
And we are all still happy to use our 15-20 year old machines cos they are running every bit as good as the day they were made!
