I'm glad its not just me who finds "e-voting" just a little creepy. I'm told those machines use an MS Access database...to count, you know, n=n+1. I made counter circuits with a breadboard and jumper wires way back in Navy tech school. My "computer" could count votes for an eternity (reliably and with NO software). But these amateurs use ACCESS to perform basic arithmatic? Boggles the mind..does it not?
