Hisoft Lattice C and Basic used to run just fine on my Falcon, with no problems with the GUI. There were Falcon/TT updates as I recall, maybe your versions don't work and you need to find later ones (though from what I remember I could get the original Hisoft Basic to work on the Falcon as well). Try some different screen resolutions or taking stuff out of the Auto folder until you get it working.
Cubase works fine on a CT63 with the appropriate patch AFAIK, you can find the patch probably on the CT63 website..
The CT63 doesn't specifically boost the screen, though most programs will feel a lot more responsive and you can play stuff like Quake with it running. A full on graphics solution isn't that far away though.
