The CT60 GEM is a lot faster than the 030/16. Especially in mono when the ST-RAM bottleneck isn't as viable as in >=16 colours. The more colours on screen, the more the ST-RAM is setting the pace.
I really hope CTPCI will see the day soon, Didier seems to have the Radeon graphics drivers working on the Coldfire-TOS now.
Cubase doesn't use much color anyway, so if you run it in ST-HIGH (or well, any mono res) it will fly. At least TOS GEM does. Going into 030/16 after having used 060 for a while you begin to wonder if your Falcon turned into a downclocked ST.
Oh, on top of the CT60 you can add a bus-booster as well, which will accelerate the ST-RAM up to 56%. But this is tricky stuff to get stable and if you consider buying the CTPCI I guess it's not worthwhile.
