have just looked again at the RF modulator and there isn't a small adjusting screw on the rear next to the ariel "in" - but underneath! so i've set it all up with it switched on and crouching! underneath i've adjusted it... but it's made no difference - it basically just gets worse
also i forgot to mention - this STFM has a marpet upgrade with 4 meg installed - the memory works fine
someone told me it could be to do with the video shifter or MMU chip....
i have checked these and they are installed tightly
this machine worked fine a few months ago - basically i've just switched it on after 2 months and this screen has started doing this
